Greystone Design/Remodel - Design and Construction

	From concept to completion... As a Design/Build General Contractor, we are a one-stop shopping approach. We provide professional and quality design, working drawings, project management, and production of the project. Our Design/Build process is in two steps: First you take the relatively small step of authorizing our company to develop a design. Only after you have a satisfactory design, do you take the larger step of signing a contract to build the project. This is how our process typically works: STEP 1 - THE DESIGN - CLIENT APPROVAL A. We will meet with you to look at your project, listen to your wants and needs and offer our own ideas and suggestions. At this meeting, we will take pictures, measurements and data of your project to provide a preliminary estimate. B. At our office we will create the preliminary estimate based on information we collected of your project. Remember, at this point it is only an estimate since we don't have plans or product selections, and we haven't consulted with specialized trade contractors yet. C. Schedule another appointment to go over the preliminary estimate and summarized description of your project. D. With the preliminary estimate meeting your approval, a financial commitment would be required to proceed with the design and product selection process. E. Our design specialist will set an appointment with you to proceed with the design and product selection process. We will stay in regular communication with you and our designer to make sure we remain on budget. STEP 2 - THE CONTRACT/BUILD A. At this time, we would provide you with a detailed description of your project, the set of plans and a construction contract with a firm price quote. There may be some allowance items if all selections have not been made. B. If the quote is approved, we’ll set the production schedule, schedule a pre-construction meeting and proceed with the construction process.
